I'M KEARNEY
WELCOME
Kearney is the heart behind Kearney Rae Photo. She picked up a camera in high school and quickly realized that photography wasn’t just something she loved… it was something that changed the way she moved through life.
Outside of photographing weddings, you’ll usually find her golfing on a sunny afternoon, running along the lakefront, devouring a new Kindle read, hosting Supper Sundays with friends, or soaking in her 20s in the city she loves, Chicago.
Kearney is passionate, grounded, joyful, and a firm believer that connection is everything. If you value presence, emotion, and a photographer who quickly feels like an old friend, you’re in the right place.

PHILOSOPHY
I've always been aware at how fast time moves. But, that's the beauty of time. As Ferris Bueller said, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
Capturing and documenting life with a camera is my way of not missing it. It causes me to look for the simple moments in life and weddings to take in, enjoy and capture.
Of course, we never miss the big moments but there are so many details that make up the raw emotion, happy tears and uncontrollable laughs of a wedding day. I want to be the one that notices it, snaps the photo and then allows you to soak in that moment forever.
I am a true believer that a rom com is pretty similar to a wedding day. There's plenty of laughs, quiet moments, crazy moments and a whole lot of love but the mix of it all is what makes your day different and unforgettable.
